Leaving my college degree behind six years ago, I moved to New York persuing a better lifestyle and easier ways to travel. That's the reason I choose only "non-office" jobs for a living, with flexible schedule and enough material resources. Since then, I've visited 45 countries in the world.
It's just because I don't have a backpack I can't call myself "backpacker", but I always keep my few "must have" travel accessories on sight.
Most of the time while traveling, I try to avoid commercial and well known spots whenever it is possible. But even if these spots are the very reason to visit a country, I try to find some different point of view not presented in official guides.
One more thing: usually I travel side by side with my life companion, who's also a photographer so there's no need to be concerned about the authenticity of the photos that would support my story.
